Sky Operating Services was founded in Cape Town with a straightforward mission: make powered access equipment accessible, dependable, and safe for every kind of project. What began as a focused rental operation grew steadily into a full-service provider — offering equipment sales, rental and servicing with expert support to clients across South Africa.
Based in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town, we've spent over 20 years learning exactly what construction teams, industrial maintenance crews, and infrastructure contractors need when they work at height. That experience shapes everything we do — from the brands we stock to the advice we give before a single machine leaves our yard.
Today, SOS operates an extensive fleet of over 200+ machines and are partners with world-class manufacturers including Niftylift, Platform Basket, JLG, Genie and Zoomlion, and serves clients ranging from small maintenance contractors to large-scale construction projects throughout the Western Cape and Southern Africa.
